How Do You Install Halex Concrete Nails?
Halex concrete nails are widely used in flooring installation, most commonly for fastening wood subfloor material or carpet tack strips to concrete slabs. Installing concrete nails can be slightly more difficult than traditional wood nails, but it is very simple task that with a little practice can be a fast and easy one. Gently tap a nail into the wood subflooring or tack strip using the hammer. Stop when the nail hits the concrete floor underneath. Line up the hammer with the head of the nail and swing hard enough to drive the nail into the concrete with one or two swings. It may take a couple times to get it right. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 on other nailing locations; nail spacing will differ depending on the application.
