How Do You Install Furniture Leg Levelers?

0

Furniture that isn’t level can be a real frustration. No matter how new or how old your house is, there will always be those areas that your furniture just never seems to be level. Threaded furniture levelers can be installed to allow your furniture to remain level anywhere in the home. These levelers consist of a threaded leveler pad and a threaded insert. Once installed, they can be adjusted at any time to accommodate any floor that’s less than furniture-friendly. Mark the center of the leg on which the leveler will be inserted. Push the brad point drill bit into the wood. Do this on all legs before installing the levelers. Mount a 3/8-inch drill bit into a cordless drill. Measure 1 1/2 inch up from the end of the drill bit. Wrap a small piece of tape around the drill bit at this measurement. Leave the two ends of the tape sticking out like a flag. Drill a 1 1/2-inch-deep hole at the center location on each of the legs marked. Drill down until the tape brushes all of the wood dust aw
