Adobe Flash Player and Shockwave Player are add-ons for a web browser that allow users to view animations and videos directly in the web browser. Both Flash Player and Shockwave Player can be used with several different web browsers, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari. Before you can begin using these add-ons with your web browser, however, you must first install the both of the programs for the specific web browser you use on the computer. Go to the Flash Player homepage. Click the “Operating System” drop box. Select the operating system that is on your computer. Then, click “Continue.” Other options will then appear at the bottom of the screen. Choose the browser that you use on the computer. Then, de-select the “McAfee Security” download. Click “Agree and install now” to download and save the Flash Player setup onto your computer.
