How Do You Install Custom Wall Mirrors?
Custom wall mirrors can add a touch of personality to your home’s decor. However, if the mirror is not installed properly, it can damage your wall or fall off the wall and shatter. Follow these steps to ensure that you install your custom wall mirrors correctly. Determine where you want to install your custom wall mirrors. Use a pencil to mark on the wall both the bottom edge and the centerline of your mirrors. Use a stud finder to locate the studs on either side of your centerline. To do this, simply pass the stud finder over the wall. It will beep, or a small light will flash when you pass over a stud. Use your pencil to mark the location of the studs. Secure wall clips to the studs using an electric drill/screwdriver and appropriately sized screws. Use a laser level to make sure your wall clips have been installed evenly. Slip your custom wall mirror over the wall clips. Use your level again to make sure the mirror has been hung straight.
