How Do You Install Coping On Fiberglass Pools?

0

One box of VASTEC USA’s Coping For Fiberglass Pools contains all the hardware you need to do one large fiberglass pool. Each box is a complete kit with 128 feet of coping, 200 Tek screws, 20 Clips, and 60 Anchors. The box is 8 feet long and weighs about 65 pounds making it easy to transport to the job site and begin installation. The self-tapping tek screws (included) make it easy to attach the coping to the lip of the fiberglass pool. It generally takes two installers about two hours to do a complete installation. You just work your way around the pool, placing one screw every 6 to 8 inches, and bending the coping to fit the pool as you go. The tabs on the back are flexible so bend them up when you are forming a negative radius turn. The anchor braces (included) provide upright support for the coping and prevent separation from the concrete deck over time. They should be installed after all the coping has been screwed down to the pool, and they should be placed 12 to 18 inches apart u
