How Do You Install Ceiling Fan Lights?
Ceiling fan lights add functionality and practicality to an object that already serves the purposes of beautifying and bringing comfort to an environment. Most ceiling fans can have lights added to them by a simple connection of wires and an assembly of the light fitter kit. Usually the job can be done in a few minutes–much less time than it takes to finish a complete ceiling fan installation. Turn off the circuit breaker and the light switch before working with electrical wiring. Connect the wire from the fan motor to the wire from the light kit fitter. Attach the light kit fitter to the fan motor by aligning the holes in the motor with the holes in the light kit fitter and inserting screws to hold it in place. Install the light bulb(s) on the light kit. Push the light shade up until the threaded rod in the light kit and the pull chain sticks out of the bottom, then thread the center cap onto the bottom of the light shade.
