How Do You Install Caster Camber Plates?
Designing a car that handles well isn’t an easy task; it’s hard to figure out which of the many possible things to tweak first. One of the easiest things to do, which gives you lots of room for adjustment, is adding a set of caster camber plates. With a set of these installed on the front of your 1994 Ford Mustang, you can fine-tune the caster and camber of your suspension, giving you optimal handling. Jack up the front of the vehicle using the jack and secure it on jack stands. Make sure the vehicle is as solid as possible before you crawl underneath. Remove the front wheels using the impact wrench and impact sockets. Place the wheels to the side. Place the jack under the front suspension and jack it up until it touches the lower control arm. Keep positive pressure on the arm, but not enough pressure to lift the vehicle off the stands. Unbolt the top alignment plate using the 3/8-inch ratchet and socket set. Unbolt the upper strut bolt.
