Several days before you begin the flooring installation, move the flooring material indoors. This will allow the wood to adjust to the indoor humidity level and temperature. Install a layer of 15 lb. asphalt felt, overlapping seams by 2 to 3 inches. Tack down with a staple gun. The felt will provide a moisture
