How Do You Install Automatic Irrigation Valves?
Automatic irrigation takes the “Oh, no!” factor out of lawn maintenance. You’ll no longer exclaim either “Oh, no! I forgot to water the lawn” or “Oh, no! I forgot to turn the water off!” After you install and program an automatic irrigation system, the water comes on and goes off just when it should. Automatic irrigation systems have five basic components: sprinklers, the pipe network, the controller, the electrical network and automatic irrigation valves. Position each valve conveniently between the main water supply and the zone of sprinklers it will control. Some lawn layouts call for valves to be spread out individually or in small groups.
