How Do You Install An Under-The-Sink Water Filter?
An under-the-sink water filter leaves your counter top clean and your faucet head unfettered. It’s an elegant solution to water filtration, but a more complex one than faucet-mounted or pitcher units. It requires slightly more time, but is worth the streamlined approach to filtration. Installation of an under-the-sink water filter is usually something you can do with a little know-how and elbow grease. If it proves more complicated than you’re willing to bother with, give the owner’s manual to a handy friend or enlist a professional to help you. Mount the water filter under the sink with the given mounting hardware in the kit. Try to screw it into a stud, but if you can’t, use screws for hollow-wall mounting. You may need to purchase these separately. Find your cold water line, disconnect it from the sink (with the water off) and connect it to the top of the filter.
