How do you install an electronic air cleaner in a central heating system?

You place a unit that is something like 6-8 inches wide between the return air for the residence and the intake for the furnace/forced air system, the air passes through the unit and filters/cleans electrostaticly, the air. The ductwork must be cut, reformed, and then attached to the unit. In the business, we call this “tin knocking”. It’s a semi-special trade and I wouldn’t do it myself and I have been in forms of the HVAC trade for 24 years.
