How Do You Install A Well Water Jet Pump?
Water pumps enable you to readily extricate high volumes of water. They’re also easy to repair and inexpensive. If your well is 25 feet or less, you need a shallow water jet pump; if your well is 25 feet or deeper, then you need a deep water jet pump. Clean any sand or grit from the well and be sure your lift doesn’t pass 25 feet. If you’re installing a convertible jet pump, make sure the tapped holes in the ejector measure 1 1/4 inches and 1 inch and fit the tapped holes in the well. Connect the 1 1/4″ foot valve to the bottom suction pipe. If you’re working with a driven well, mount a 1 1/4″ horizontal line check valve. Fasten a sanitary well seal on top of the 1 1/4″ suction pipe. Install the 1 1/4″ tee, also known as a support rest or an elbow, and a 1 1/4″ plug to support the suction pipe.
