How Do You Install A Water Purifier?

0

Installing a water purifier in the home is becoming increasingly popular. One of the easiest water purifiers to install is a dual cartridge under the sink purification system. Start by turning off the cold water supply. Prepare to mount the dispenser faucet. Most water purifiers are designed to fit where the existing sink sprayer is, but if you don’t want to remove the sink sprayer, you will need to drill a new hole in the sink top. Refer to the manufacturer’s directions to the location and size of the hole. Assemble the base of the faucet by inserting a screw into the base mounting hole and secure it with a flat nut. Be sure to follow the more detailed manufacturer instructions for installation of the water purification faucet. Turn off the water and drain the line by opening the faucet before tapping into the cold water supply. Drill a small whole in the supply line to attach a saddle valve. Turn the handle on the valve to expose the lance that is designed to puncture the water line.
