How Do You Install A Strut Tower Brace On A 1993 To 2002 Camaro Or Firebird?
Having the ability to install a strut tower brace in your Camaro or Firebird is a great skill to have. The strut brace tower is an important part of strengthening your car for safety precautions. Installing the strut brace tower is a repair that can be completed in a few simple steps and a couple of hours. Remove the strut nuts located under the hood on the fender walls on each side. There are two nuts per side to remove that require a 15 mm wrench. Place them somewhere safe such as a magnetic tray, a great item to keep in the garage. Install the brace by lining the holes up with the strut holes left by the nuts you just removed. Only loosely tighten them so the other side will be easy to install. Once both sides are installed, you can tighten the nuts and add the two remaining nuts and tighten them as well. Secure all the nuts with the same wrench you used to remove them all.
