How Do You Install A Stereo In A Honda Civic?
Installing an aftermarket stereo in a car to fit your needs is cheaper and easier than buying a vehicle that already has the stereo you want. Honda Civics have an easy-to-remove dash on their older models (from 1995 to 1983), making for a fast installation. The job can be harder with newer models (from 1996 to the present), due to hidden screws in the dash. Use the screwdriver that fits your dash screws and unscrew the two screws on the left side next to the door. Move to the right side of the car and remove the two screws in the passenger’s side of the dash. On each side, there is one screw on top (next to the air vent) and one on the bottom (next to the kick panel). Put these screws aside so they do not get lost, and place the dash in the back seat, out of the way. Remove the screws from the front of the existing stereo. There should be a total of four: two on the top on both sides, and two on the bottom. Pull the stereo out of the slot and disconnect the wiring harness from the back
