Ozonators are a great way for spa owners to keep their water clean without relying on a cupboard full of chemicals. Fortunately for spa owners, many manufacturers have recognized this need and have designed their products to accommodate the ozonators. Mount your ozonator in a dry, well-ventilated place. Most manufacturers recommend attaching it to the spa cabinet, the wall of the hot tub room or in a dry place under your deck. The idea is to keep this within reach but safe from getting wet. Connect the ozonator’s tubing to the hot tub. Locate the small jet at the bottom of your tub. There will be a jet port and an air port. Connect the tubing to these ports and run the tubing back to where you have mounted your ozonator and securely fasten this to the port. Cut the tubing about six inches from the ozonator.
