Sony produces memory cards that are not only compatible with its own cameras and other devices, but that are also compatible with many other brands and types of electronic devices. Sony makes installing its memory cards easier by featuring some simple directions on the front label of the cards. Once the card is inserted correctly into the device, you must make sure you lock the card into place. Locate the memory card slot on your device. If using the card on a digital camera, the memory card slot might be accessed on one of the sides of the camera. The memory card slot might also have a cover over it.
