Locate where on your roof or your wall, where you will have the clearest line of sight to the north. Drill two holes in the wall or if mounting the dish on your roof, you will need to locate a good, solid structure to bolt your dish arm onto. Have your compass handy for this part. Find north and mount your dish arm pointing towards the north.
