If you own a Dyson DC07 vacuum cleaner, you may sometimes notice that it is not picking up dirt and debris as well as it used to. Check the roller on the bottom of your vacuum to see if it is clogged with carpet fibers and other strange stringy things. If so, you’ll need to remove and clean it. Periodic cleaning of the roller plate will improve the performance of your vacuum cleaner. Locate the base of your Dyson. Turn your Dyson upside-down so you have access to the bottom. Locate the release screws on the roller plate. Turn each release screw a quarter-turn to the left. Lift off the roller plate. Clean all carpet fibers and other debris off of the roller. Align the roller plate with the base of the vacuum. Turn each release screw a quarter-turn to the right. Test out your vacuum to ensure the roller plate is properly installed.
