Rifle scopes are a useful tool for hunting and competitive shooting. This guide will help you install a scope on your rifle. Make sure rifle is unloaded. Clean drilled and tapped holes on the receiver. Pre-fit new bases on the receiver of rifle. Using the supplied screws, attach the base to the receiver. Check to make sure screws are not too long. If screws protrude into the rifle action, it will not let the bolt operate properly. Install the saddle of the rings on the bases. Do not install the caps yet. Align the rings with the scope ring alignment tool. If they do not line up, it will cause stress on the scope. Install the scope into the saddle of the rings, and then install ring caps. Torque screws on the ring caps. Bore sight your rifle, and you are ready to sight in your rifle and shoot.
