• Twist the canopy ring counterclockwise to drop it down. • Unscrew the 4 Philips-head screws and set them aside for later. Let the canopy drop down. • Unscrew the wire nuts and separate the wires. • Connect the wires from the remote control receiver to the house and fan wires. Secure the wire nuts you removed earlier. Let the remote control receiver sit in the mounting bracket. • Slide the canopy back up to the ceiling and secure the 4 screws you removed earlier. • Slide the canopy ring back up to the ceiling and twist it clockwise to secure it. • Place a 9V battery in the remote control. • Turn the power back on. Test out your new remote control!
