How Do You Install A Propane Grill Regulator?
The regulator is what controls the amount of propane gas going to your grill. It is important that the regulator be in good working order. The regulator is also a safety feature on your grill–it acts as a safety barrier between the propane tank and the grill. Turn the cap on the pressure regulator with a coin or flathead screwdriver and remove it. Snap the plunger back into its original position. Re-insert the plunger into the regulator and tighten. Find the pilot screw located behind the thermostat knob. Remove the thermostat knob and check the control screw-make sure it is on the LP setting. This will require a full turn in the clockwise direction. Replace the thermostat knob. Work with the ½-inch wrench and turn the safety valve orifice hood clockwise until it is tight.
