How Do You Install A Pre Owned Xbox 360 Hard Drive?

Do you have internal memory (listed as MU in your memory section) or a memory card? Either way, you do not need a transfer cable. That’s for moving content from one hard drive to another. With a memory card or internal memory, all you have to do it attach your new hard drive and the memory card if that’s what you have. If you haven’t already, attach the HDD to your Arcade by removing the plastic vent cover on the left side of the console. After that, you can then go into the memory area in the system settings in the My Xbox section. Both will be listed there. Find your content on your original device, select an item and choose to move it. You can then choose the hard drive as the destination. Repeat this until you have everything you want to move over. You can then use your original device as backup storage.
