How Do You Install A Plastic Flooring System?
Plastic flooring is sold in a variety of colors, styles and textures. It is used both indoors and out to protect surfaces and reduce slips and falls on slippery or wet surfaces, such as around swimming pools. Installation is fast and easy and requires very few tools. Measure the area where the plastic flooring will be installed. If the plastic flooring will be going all the way to the edges of the floor, measure only doorways to determine how much edging you will need. If the plastic flooring will only be covering part of the room, you will need to calculate how much edging will be needed for the prerimeter of the area where the flooring will be installed. Determine the number of tiles needed, calculate the total square feet of the room or area where the floowing will be installed: For example: 12′ x 12′ room is 144 square feet Determine how many square feet each tile covers by looking on the package and calculate how many tiles will be needed. For example: Tile size = 2.6 square feet
