How Do You Install A Phone-Ring Signaler?
Though designed to be used by people with hearing impairments, a phone-ring signaler can be used by just about anyone. The signaler is a device designed to indicate (by means other than sound) that the phone is ringing. It is simple to install and great for the times when you can’t hear the phone ringing in the other room. Attach the power adapter cord to the back of the device and then plug it into an electrical outlet. Connect one end of the phone cord to the “Line In” jack on the back of the phone-ring signaler. Plug the other end into the telephone wall jack. Attach your telephone to the “Line Out” jack of the device if you wish to have it near the phone. Most devices can work without being plugged into the phone, making them portable. Choose the method by which you want to be signaled and place the mode switch accordingly.
