How Do You Install A Philips Projector Lamp?

0

Philips projectors display different forms of media using a lamp that is installed on the inside of the machine. Though the lamps have a lifespan of hundreds of hours or more, they will eventually burn out and need to be replaced. Replacement lamps can be purchased directly from Philips. Unlike some of the more delicate components of the projector, lamps do not need to replaced by a service repair technician, saving you time and money. Turn off the projector, and wait for the cooling fan to stop. The cooling cycle should always be allowed to complete as the lamp and surrounding projector components get very hot. Unplug the projector from the power outlet, and disconnect any other cables attached to the unit. Flip the projector so the bottom is facing up, allowing you access to the lamp cage cover. Remove the screw from the lamp cage cover, and slide the cover off of the projector. Unscrew the three screws that secure the lamp cage inside of the projector, and place them to the side. Ho
