One of the most popular counters for a bathroom vanity is the one piece counter and sink. They come in many different styles and colors and are very easy to install. Besides their beauty, what makes these counters and sinks so popular is that the sink and the top is installed together which saves labor and time. If your vanity is narrow, one person can install these tops. Otherwise, two people are recommended to lift the top in and out. Set the counter and sink on the vanity and push it back so that each end is an equal distance from the wall. Tape the backsplash and sides that meet a wall with white masking tape. Normally, unless your walls are exceptionally straight and square, you must scribe along the wall with a pencil and use a belt sander to sand up to the lines.
