While most computers come with an operating system already installed, if it doesn’t, the process of installing one is not difficult. However, it can take a considerable amount of time. Ensure that all of the files on the computer have been backed up. If you are installing a new operating system on an old computer that has been in use for a while, you don’t want to lose your files. However, if you have never used the computer before, you will have no files on the computer.
