Navigating through your home at night without any lights leads to slips, trips and falls. Walking around in the dark and not seeing your hand in front of your face makes it difficult to find anything. You have to find the rocker switch to turn on the lights, but you can’t see or feel it. You can’t find the wall because of the dark. Make your life a little more convenient by installing a lighted rocker switch. Disconnect the circuit at the breaker panel that provides power to the switch by turning the breaker to the off position. Remove the switch plate. The switch plate is connected by two screws; remove the screws to expose the electrical wiring. Disconnect the switch. Loosen the two screws on the side of the switch and remove the wires from underneath them. Remove the switch from the electrical box.
