How Do You Install A Jacuzzi Pool Filter?
Install a Jacuzzi cartridge pool filter for easy maintenance and sparkling clear pool water. The filtration process operates on water pressure. The pump pulls the water from the pool and pushes it into the filter inlet. The water pressure forces the water through the outside of the filter cartridge and into the center. This traps all solids in the water on the outside of the cartridge fabric. The clean water then flows from the center of the cartridge into the collection tube at the bottom of the filter and back out through the outflow pipe, returning it to the pool. Set the assembled filter on a flat surface, such as a concrete pad, near the pump. Identify the inflow and outflow ports. There may also be a drain port, but this is usually closed at the factory with a threaded plug. Whether you make use of this port is optional.
