How Do You Install A Hard Drive In A Sony Vaio Laptop Computer?
Sony Vaio laptops, classically, came with quite small hard drives. So a useful upgrade may be to replace the Vaio’s small internal hard drive. Laptop hard drives are inexpensive, and more hard-drive space can even speed up your computer by adding space for virtual memory. Turn off the laptop computer and turn it over. Lay it on a hard, flat surface. Remove the computer’s battery by sliding the lock switch and pulling it out. Locate the hard drive along the bottom edge of the computer case. A rounded bevel and two mounting screws secure the hard drive. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the hard drive’s two mounting screws. Gently slide the hard drive out of the case. Remove the hard drive from the plastic mounting assembly by removing the two screws securing it. Set the old hard drive aside and place the plastic mounting assembly on the new drive.
