How Do You Install A Hampton Bay Quick Connect Ceiling Fan?
• If a lighting source is already in place, remove it. • If the outlet box is not rated for ceiling fans, replace it with one that is rated for ceiling fans. • Put the mounting bracket into the ceiling fan box until it snaps into place. • If using the low profile mount, slide the low profile mounting ring down. Mount the canopy on the motor housing. Slide the low profile mounting ring back up. • If using the regular mount, put the down rod into the motor housing. Slide the canopy up. • Mount the ceiling fan onto the ceiling. If using the vaulted ceiling mount, turn the canopy sideways. • Slide each blade into the blade brackets until they snap into place. • If using a light kit, keep it in place. If not, take the light kit off, and replace it with a ceiling fan cap. • If using a light kit, squeeze the triggers on each light. Put the light shade on. Let go of the triggers. BE CAREFUL! Install the light bulbs and snap on the pull chains, and turn on your new ceiling fan!
