Measure the length and width of the walls that will be covered with the garage wall system. Purchase the number of wall slats needed to cover this area. Locate the studs on the wall using a stud finder. Mark the locations of each stud by snapping a chalk line along each. This will allow you to see the location of each stud as you install the panels.
