Disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the fuel filler cap. Relieve the pressure from the system before you begin. Put a siphon hose in the fuel filler neck and push the hose into the fuel tank. Drain the fuel from the tank, into a safe container that has been approved to contain gasoline. Raise the vehicle with a jack and support it securely on a jack stand. Block the rear wheels to keep them from rolling.
