How Do You Install A Dual Kitchen Sink Drain?
A dual kitchen sink gives options to wash dishes in one side of the sink and rinse them in the other side. Dual kitchen sinks have a water drain at the bottom of each side to drain them individually. The drain pipes route down from each where they join and then flow downward through a trap and then to the drain exit to the sewer system. Turn both the hot and cold water supply valves off under the kitchen sink. Turn each knob clockwise to turn completely off. Apply pipe thread compound on the metal threads of the sink drain basket in the cabinet underneath the kitchen sink and insert the drain tailpiece.
