How Do You Install A Digital-To-Analog Converter Box?

Since June 12, 2009, TV stations have been required to broadcast a digital signal rather than an analog one. An analog television that is not connected to a digital receiver can be connected to a digital-to-analog converter box to allow the TV to operate. Unplug the TV. Unplug the existing coaxial cable from the “Antenna In” port on the back of the TV. Plug that cable into the “Antenna In” port on the back of the converter box. Plug one end of the new coaxial cable into the “Out to TV” port on the back of the converter box. Plug the other end of that cable into the “Antenna In” port on the back of the TV. Plug in both the TV and the converter box. Tune the TV to channel 3 or 4 (depending on your broadcast area) and follow the onscreen setup guide to begin receiving digital TV signals.
