• Turn the power off at the breaker box to the room you’ll be working in. Loading… • Start by carefully removing the current fixture from the ceiling.If there is not already a proper ceiling fan box, install one before continuing. • Slide the mounting bracket onto the ceiling, and secure it with 2 screws. Assemble the down rod or canopy onto the fan from the ground. • Install the remote control that came with the fan, or one that you bought. • Slide the fan into the mounting bracket. Measure the wires and cut the length that is needed. Wire the fan wires to the house wires and tape and cap them off. • Slide the canopy up to the ceiling.
