Pop the hood, locate the battery and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery using an open-end wrench. Disconnect and remove the positive terminal of the battery using the open-end wrench. Unbolt the battery tie-down using the 3/8-inch ratchet and sockets and remove the battery from the vehicle.
