How Do You Install A Canon IP 1600 Ink Cartridge?
The Canon iP1600 is a photo inkjet printer capable of printing out high-quality images on glossy paper. Although on the outside, the iP1600 (also known as a PIXMA) looks like a normal printer, its internal components are shaped to deliver high-image quality. Though you may have changed ink cartridges before, the process for changing the cartridge in an iP1600 is a little bit different. Despite the differences however, the process is still very straightforward. Purchase a replacement ink cartridge. The PIXIMA series of printers can only use FINE ink cartridges, and the iP1600 can only use the PG-40 (black) and CL-41 (color) cartridge sizes. Open the ink caddy on the left side of the printer by lifting up the ink cartridge door. Then press on the ink cartridge release button at the top of the caddy, and pull the empty cartridge out.
