A breaker box is essential in order for your electric to work. Without a breaker box, inside and outside, you will not have electricity. Installing a breaker box is not hard if you know your way around electricity. If you don’t think you can do the work yourself properly, go the safe route and have a licensed electrician do the work for you. Have the electric company turn the electric off. Use the voltage tester to make sure the electric is off before you start. Hook up the external breaker box under the meter box to the pole. Run 440 wire to internal breaker box and drill holes through the 2-by-4s in your house. Run 220 wire and 110 wires to the areas where the outlets will go. Use the negative and positive wires for all outlets separately. Make sure the ground wire is hooked up to all outlets. Put the 220 amp into the external box but do not hook it up yet.
