Installing a block heater in a Jeep doesn’t have to become a complicated project. The engine block heater will keep any Jeep Wrangler engine warm. This means that it will become a lot easier to start up and warm up much quicker than previously possible without the block heater. Other features include plug-in wiring, which is the same as the production heaters. Step 1 Remove the freeze plug in the center of the engine. This will allow the heat to dissipate evenly. Install the heater there. Insert into the vacant freeze plug opening. Tighten and secure. Step 2 Drain the antifreeze. Remove the power steering pump. Use a flathead screw driver. Position it at the bottom of the plug. Hit it softly with a hammer several times. Avoid knocking it into the block. Be prepared for any exiting antifreeze once the seal is broken. Step 3 Tap the top swivels gently until they’re out enough to grip the pliers. Now remove it. Check the hole in the block for debris or metal shavings. Step 4 Insert the he
