If you choose to do so, you can connect to the serial port of a computer running Windows Vista. Plug the USB cable into the the Belkin device you want to connect to the Windows Vista computer. Attach the USB serial adapter onto the free end of the USB cable. The serial end of the adapter has a series of pins to connect to the computer. Plug the adapter into the serial port of the Windows Vista computer. Depending on the adapter and the kind of computer you have, the serial port adapter may screw into the port. Turn on the Belkin device and the computer will detect that new hardware is connected. Insert the driver installation disk of the Belkin device into the Windows
