The print cartridge cradle moves to the center of the printer. 3. Lift the cradle latch for the print cartridge you want to replace or install. 4. If you are replacing a print cartridge, lift the old print cartridge out and discard it. 5. Remove the tape from the new print cartridge: Take the print cartridge out of its package.
