On the back of the cellphone, silide the movable panel downward. Carefully remove battery from the cellphone. In the compartment that held the battery, there should be a metal clip and six metal prongs on the left side. Take your v-chip (gold side down) and slide it under the metal clip. It should read from left to right and a number and the AT&T logo will be visible. Place battery back into phone and slide cover back on using a upward sliding motion.
