Use Dreamweaver 3 to insert movies made with Flash or Shockwave on your Web page. These instructions assume a basic knowledge of Flash or Shockwave requirements and a preexisting Flash or Shockwave movie file. Start Dreamweaver and open the page the movie will be added to. Click in the spot you want the movie to be added. Click the Insert Flash Movie button (which resembles a multicolored burst) or Insert Shockwave Movie button (which resembles a set of multicolored, connected W’s) from the Objects palette. Choose the movie file on your hard drive. In the Property Inspector box, set the height and width of the movie. Set any other properties needed. Consult the Dreamweaver online help for detailed information about the available property options. Change any parameters by clicking on Parameters. The parameters are part of the movie and are usually listed in the documentation, if you obtained the movie from an outside source. Save the page when finished and preview it by choosing Preview
