How Do You Insert A Date Stamp With Dreamweaver?
A date stamp lets users know when you’ve updated a Web page. It’s a great feature if you update regularly, but it can be off-putting to your viewers if they see your site hasn’t been changed in two years. These instructions are for Dreamweaver 3. Start Dreamweaver and open the desired page. Click in the spot where the stamp will be located. Open the File menu and select Insert, then Date. Choose a format for the day, date and time. Select the Update Automatically on Save to have the date change automatically; otherwise, the date will be saved as plain text and not be updated. Click OK and save the page when finished.
