How Do You Infuse French Apple Vodka?
Infused vodka is fantastic. It’s delightfully light and refreshing, yet highly alcoholic. This apple and vanilla blend is a perfect treat for nice evenings, a great gift and a wonderful way to celebrate New Years Eve. Chop apples into small bits, not too tiny, but small enough to fit in the jar. Stuff the apples into the jar, as close to the lid as you can. Keep your empty vodka bottle when you’re done. Pour the vodka into the jar and fill to just above the highest apple. Seal the jar. Place the jar of vodka and fruit in a dark cold place. Leave for two to three weeks until the vodka starts to take on the scent of the apples. Cut one inch from your vanilla bean and place it back in the dark place. Wait two more days. Take out your old, empty vodka bottle and place the funnel in it’s neck. Use the lid of your infused vodka jar to filter out the fruit and vanilla bit. Pour the liquid into the bottle. When the jar is empty, discard the old fruit. If you want to make the presentation more
