How Do You Increase Boost On Jackson Racing Supercharger?
A Jackson Racing supercharger increases the performance of your vehicle dramatically. However, over time, you can become bored with this level of performance and want more. At that point, boost can be increased by simply replacing the supercharger pulley with a smaller one. But for the vehicle to run properly, it needs to be able to support the added boost. The engine will need more fuel and will have to be tuned for maximum efficiency and performance. Remove the supercharger belt. To do this, loosen the belt tensioner lock and then the belt tensioner with a ratchet. It may help to use an extension on the ratchet to reach the belt tensioner. Remove the supercharger pulley with an adjustable wrench. Install a smaller pulley onto the supercharger and tighten. The smaller pulley will allow your supercharger to spin faster, compressing more air and ultimately providing more horsepower and torque. Reinstall the supercharger belt and tighten the belt tensioner until the belt has about 1/2 in
