An HP Tablet PC is a laptop computer with a touch-screen LCD that can be used as a tablet. This means you can use a stylus pen to actually write on the screen. But even though this is a feature unique to most laptops, it still needs regular computer components–such as memory–in order to function. One way of improving overall performance is to replace the memory module in the computer. Power off your HP Tablet and remove the power cable. Close the display screen and turn the unit upside down. Unplug the rectangular battery pack from its port on the bottom of the computer. Locate the memory compartment in the center of the underside of the computer. The compartment cover is held in place with a single captive screw. Remove the captive screws and lift the cover up to expose the RAM memory module inside. Notice the metal tabs at either end of the module. Pull the metal tabs outward and the module will pop slightly out of the compartment. Remove the module and set it aside. Fit a new modu
