Employee engagement is critical to success. If you have bored, unengaged workers, not only does productivity go down, but the listless attitude will spread to other workers, and even to your customers. You can use the same techniques to boost employee engagement as you use to gain customer engagement. However, if you want to engage someone who is not interested, you have to start the ball rolling yourself, and you have to make it easy for them to answer, or they’ll ignore you. Come up with a single, multiple choice question. So come up with a question to get the ball rolling. Unless you have a pressing issue you’d like some feedback on right away, you might just start by asking your employee
